Bernard Delany
In 2008, Bernard Delany founded HR Initiatives Limited. Prior to starting HR Initiatives, Bernard held senior HR roles both domestically and abroad. Bernard’s 25 years HR and commercial experience within organisations or advising them includes: successfully advising senior management teams and boards on driving transformations and commercial success through leadership initiatives, people processes, risk mitigation, and organisational redesign; applying international HR expertise from various industries founded on having lectured in industrial relations, HRM, employment law and IT for HR. After graduation Bernard won and completed a Masters under the Asahi Study and Scholarship Programme with the University of Limerick (including a 12 month placement in Japan) that has cultivated his interest in the effect of organisational culture on business performance. Bernard’s current interests include how to foster a value creating culture by balancing human learning and digital resources working in tandem in the flow of work. Bernard is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Personnel and Development, holds an honours BBS and MBS from the University of Limerick and a Diploma in Executive and Business Coaching from University College Dublin. Bernard is a director on the board of Accounting Technicians Ireland.
